When we contemplate developing a new centre we seek to minimise environmental impacts and create systems which operate on a sustainable basis. An example is the BREEAM award of a Very Good standard at our recent development at Milton Keynes. One aspect of this is the Biomass Generator, basically a carefully controlled low pressure hot water heating system heated by burning specially prepared wood chips.

Recycling is important for us and we encourage our tenants to support recycling by the provision of a range of separate bins for waste. We encourage energy and water efficiency and plan on a sustainable basis
