CEC Reward Scheme brings smiles all round
30 Oct 2009
We all know that word of mouth recommendations are a strong business driver and that’s why CEC set up a £1000 Reward Scheme for those introducing new tenants to its Business Centres.
So it was smiles all round when Pehr Eriksson of Moelven Timber UK received a cheque from Capital Business Centre Manager Carol Matthews following his successful introduction of a new business.
Pehr is a very satisfied tenant at Croydon and he had no hesitation in recommending it as a business base to Timothy Gilkinson of TGTM. When TGTM completed its first three months at the Centre Pehr was given a £500 cheque and another £500 will follow once the business has been there for six months.
Centre Manager Carol Matthews said the straightforward Reward Scheme was an easy to take up option.
She said: “It’s a good way of showing our appreciation to businesses for their support. It’s aimed to be hassle free and no quibble. Help us sign someone up and you can soon have a cheque in your hand.”
Existing or past customers, current employees of customers, virtual traders, or suppliers of goods or services are all eligible for the Reward Scheme. CEC will pay £1000 if the introduction of a potential trader results in a successful tenancy being agreed. £500 is paid out after 3 months of the new tenancy and a further £500 at the completion of six months.
CEC Operations Director David Clapham said the scheme had proved to be a real success.
He added: “There are no limits on the scheme, you can make multiple recommendations at £1000 each time.”
