Keeping options open in 2010
27 Nov 2009
As businesses plan for 2010 they are putting a high premium on flexibility and looking for open options on their next business space letting, says Churchill Square Business Centre Manager Sue Billings. All offices to let at the Churchill Square Business Centre at Kings Hill are available on a simple monthly licence and Sue says an increasing number of businesses are being attracted by this easy-in, easy-out way of taking office space.
She explains: “We see businesses looking forward to 2010 with renewed confidence but although many feel the corner is being turned they are still very cautious. Businesses are seeking to keep all their options open and retain as much flexibility as possible and that’s just what we can offer them.
“Our monthly licence allows businesses to take high quality space without the long term commitment of a lease and has the additional benefit of cutting down on legal costs. Arranging leases can cost more than £1,000 but our simple licence is a no-cost process.
“We also give businesses the option of varying the amount of office space they take, allowing change easily on a monthly basis, and many take advantage of this additional flexibility.”
Sue reports that although some businesses have reduced the amount of space taken in recent months other businesses have taken further space and secured steady growth and expansion.
Sue adds: “We want to support our Centre businesses in what are still tough economic times and enable them to get ready to take full advantage of the recovery ahead. By providing space on a very practical and flexible basis we allow businesses to plan for the future with confidence.”
The Churchill Square Business Centre enjoys a campus style setting at Kings Hill with more than 60,000 sq ft of office space to let. The all-in-one monthly licence fee for offices includes on-site management, maintenance, building insurance, refuse collection, security, water rates and the cleaning of common areas.
