Business confidence for 2010 grows
08 Jan 2010
St George’s Business Park in Sittingbourne celebrated the New Year by welcoming five new businesses and further enquiries for space are continuing to be received. CEC Operations Director David Clapham says the high level of interest in business space is a strong indication that 2010 could be a year of real recovery for the economy.
He says: “It is encouraging to see businesses taking a very positive view of the year ahead. We are in particular pleased to see so many new businesses moving to St George’s Business Park but we are also seeing sustained interest at our other business centres.
“There is increasing confidence that 2010 will be a year in which businesses can move forward and our Centres are ready to help companies take full advantage of the opportunities that the New Year will bring.”
Businesses moving to St George’s Business Park include F1 Hobbies, Autographs Store.Com Ltd, Scott Care Ltd, KSL Cleaning Services Ltd, and Otaga Electrical Ltd.
Centre Manager Leigh Kedwell says that the high quality of the business space available at St George’s Park is a big attraction.
He says: “Businesses which work to a high professional standard want premises that reflect those standards and as a result our offices, studios and workshops are much sought after.
“We also have a great location being well positioned for UK and European markets and having easy access to both road and rail links.”
Offices, studios and workshops are available at St George’s Business Park on a simple monthly licence. An on-site manager provides administrative support, meeting room management, state of the art telecommunications, postal services, telephone answering and access to business catering.
A Virtual Service for businesses working from home is also available giving a Business Park address, mail and telephone answering services and access to meeting rooms and office space. Larger companies can take advantage of bespoke business continuity arrangements.
