Following rapid growth The Phat Pasty Co is taking further space at the Milton Keynes Business Centre. Company bosses Paul and Laura Clark - known officially in the business as the Phat Controllers – have quickly established Phat Pasty in Milton Keynes and are now building a thriving office buffet delivery service and franchise operation.

The business which delivers quality office lunches from the distinctive Phat Vans was started from a home base before Paul and Laura made the move to the Milton Keynes Business Centre.

Paul says that the ability to take high quality business space at the Centre on a monthly licence was a big advantage for an expanding small business.

He says: “We were very confident that our first business plan was sound but the last thing we wanted to do was to lock ourselves into a long and costly lease. As a start-up we needed to retain flexibility.

“Now as a growing business the same flexibility is just as important. When we needed additional space to take the company to the next stage and cope with the growing demand it was very straightforward and easy to take on another unit.”

Milton Keynes Business Centre Manager Lynn Patey-Smith said: “It has been great to seeing the company do so well and we were pleased to be able to offer them additional space just when they needed it.”
