The judges were impressed by the homemade quality of the products and the fact that all of their sandwiches, soups and bakery products were produced each morning.

Phat Pasty has expanded rapidly and latest moves include the launch of an office buffet delivery service and a full franchise operation. The company has taken additional space at the Milton Keynes Business Centre allowing it to quickly put in place the additional resources needed to underpin this growth.

Centre Manager Lynn Patey-Smith says that Phat Pasty is a real success story showing just what can be achieved when an imaginative business idea is put into practice with drive and determination.
