ICRI Global Research’s postgraduate training facility at Milton Keynes Business Centre is about to welcome more than 30 postgraduate students. The postgraduate students, mostly from the Indian sub continent, will be studying for a Masters in Clinical Research, which will enable them to develop careers in the pharmaceutical research industry and related medical fields.

ICRI Global Research Chief Executive Professor Anthony Woodman said that Milton Keynes Hospital, Northampton General Hospital and the Institute of Clinical Research would be contributing to the academic programme.

He said: “We are able to offer our students access to training that will allow them to work with confidence in the international pharmaceutical industry and there has been a high demand for places on the course.”

ICRI have taken a dedicated building in the Office Village at the Milton Keynes Business Centre with specially configured offices and training rooms.

Professor Woodman said that the campus style setting of the Centre with easy access for students by public transport, cycle, or on foot made it an excellent base for a postgraduate course.

He added: “The business centre team has been very supportive from the outset and we have appreciated the IT support offered which has allowed us to use distance learning when needed with confidence.”

A full range of offices, studios and workshops is available at the Milton Keynes Business Centre on a simple monthly licence. An on-site manager provides administrative support, meeting room management, postal services, telephone answering and access to business catering. In addition state of the art telecommunications are provided with no set-up costs.

A Virtual Service for businesses working from home is also available giving a Business Park address, mail and telephone answering services and access to meeting rooms and office space. Larger companies can take advantage of bespoke business continuity arrangements.
