TV cameras rolled at the Greenway Business Centre in Harlow as the BBC’s popular “Pay Off Your Mortgage in Two Years” programme came up with yet more money making ideas.The BBC were at Greenway to ask graphic design and marketing consultancy Brilliant to give expert advice to a couple aiming to set up an jewellery sales business.
Brilliant Director Craig McKenzie guided aspiring entrepreneurs Arthur and Mary Holleyman through the difficult task of creating an eye-catching and business efficient website.
He said: “Sites need to be fit for purpose, easy to use and must generate through images the right customer relationship. Lots of people think it’s not too difficult and don’t put the right effort in, which is why there are so many awful sites. It doesn’t have to be expensive but it does have to be right.”
Craigs advice to anyone trying to grow a successful fast growing business is to think very carefully about where to work from and he’s convinced Brilliant made the right choice in Greenway Business Centre.
He said: “We have quality space in quality offices and that says a lot about a company. You need the right image on-line and the right image at your offices.”
And with Craig’s advice the Holleymans might just get that mortgage paid off unexpectedly fast, for he has a well proven track record, including recently winning the Best New Business title in the Harlow Business Awards only months after launching his consultancy.
