01.03.07 Expansion underway at St George's Business Park
High demand for space at St George’s Business Park in Sittingbourne has led to offices and workshops in the new wing there being reserved off plan.Construction of a building which will provide a further 3,200 sq ft of high quality business space is planned to start in February and should be completed by the early summer.
CEC Operations Director David Clapham says that the expansion at St George’s Business Park has been eagerly awaited as the Park has proved extremely popular.
He said: “St George’s offers a range of good quality offices, studios and workshops and has the great advantage of an on-site Manager. There are already around 50 businesses at the Park and the new space is being quickly reserved.”
St George’s Business Park first opened in 2000 and a comprehensive programme of refurbishment and upgrading has recently been completed. This has included the opening of a business bistro providing high quality catering throughout business hours.
David Clapham added: “We are rigorous in maintaining high quality standards and we regularly upgrade and enhance our business centres and improve facilities. Security is currently another important consideration for businesses and St George’s has a self-contained fenced site that is security monitored.”
The on-site Manager at St George’s Business Park provides a comprehensive range of property management and business support services. Everything is covered including administrative support, meeting room management, state of the art telecommunications, postal services, telephone answering, secretarial services and access to business catering.
