06.06.07 Global Success for Harlow Business
Outstanding customer service has brought fast track growth and international success for the Harlow based electronics supplier Oracle Components.Oracle was the first business to take space at the newly opened Greenway Business Centre in May 2004 and since then has gone from strength to strength and is set to achieve an annual turnover of more than £2m this year.
Managing Director John Mustafa said that for an ambitious start-up business the Greenway Business Centre was an ideal location.
He said: “From the outset we wanted to be able to focus entirely on building our business and it was ideal to be able to leave all property management matters to the Centre Manager.
“We also had to have state of the art telecommunications facilities available as these would be crucial to our business growth and the Centre was able to offer us just what we needed.”
Oracle now provides electrical components to businesses and the public sector around the world, with contracts with blue chip companies and with the UK armed forces.
It is able to source and deliver key components that are in short supply and has established itself as a trusted supplier working to exacting standards and delivery dates.
Further expansion at Oracle Components has seen the company take additional space and the Greenway Centre’s first start-up is now one of the largest businesses on site.
John Mustafa added: “We are committed to delivering 100% or more to our customers and when we are a customer ourselves we look for the same service from others. The Greenway Centre has always been able to meet our expectations and the move to a larger unit was seamless with no disruption to our business.”
The only thing the football mad Oracle’s team of 12 would now like is their own five-a-side pitch to practise on, though mostly they are spectators at premiership matches in the company’s own box.
CEC Operations Director David Clapham said he was delighted to see the success of Oracle which had highlighted again the tremendous potential of new technology based businesses.
He said: “Oracle has shown just what can be done in a remarkably short time. They have taken off and grown in a truly global marketplace.”
