Canadian students tapped into the expertise of consultants at the Greenway Business Centre as they investigated development and conservation in England.Chartered Surveyors Strettons gave the students an overview on the development opportunities and conservation challenges faced by the Harlow area, including the impacts of Stansted expansion, and Tim Moya Associates provided a series of development case studies, with profiles of some of the consultancy’s latest projects.
The Memorial University of Newfoundland has a European base in Harlow and the 30 strong undergraduate group were on an “English Cultural Landscapes” summer programme.
Centre Manager Lorraine King said CEC was very pleased to be able to welcome the university study group.
She said: “The students seemed to enjoy their visit and as a bonus to round things off a Centre lifestyle business Pink Wishes gave the women students in the Group a complimentary compact each.”
