22.05.08 Growth Companies Choose Capital Business Centre
Croydon companies are still planning for growth despite nationally expressed concerns about a downturn. That’s the clear view from the Capital Business Centre where manager Carol Matthews has been impressed by the number of companies moving in or taking additional space.
She says: “Businesses obviously have to be cautious in the current climate but the companies we see are focused on growth and optimistic about long term prospects.
“Centre businesses include companies from the service, professional and high tech sectors as well as construction and property. It’s a very broad mix and it does show that the local economy is soundly based with good prospects.”
Deepdene Care, a leading provider of quality community based mental health care, is one of the companies which has recently taken additional space at the Centre. The company has steadily expanded over 20 years and selected the Capital Business Centre as the location for its expanding head office team.
Deepdene Care Managing Director Dillen Iyavoo said that good access to road and rail communications and excellent IT infrastructure were both important factors in the move.
He said: “We now have more than 200 staff working in care homes and in the community across the country and communicating effectively with them and with health service Trusts is a top priority for us.
“Locating our head office at the Capital Business Centre allowed us to develop further the communications infrastructure we will need for future growth. Good communications will underpin our business development, improvement in working practices and the projection of a strong corporate image.”
Other businesses currently taking space at the Centre include specialist ceiling firm SUNALERT Ltd, recruitment advisors Empowering You PA Services, Internal Communications Systems Ltd, NBNA Construction Ltd and Ideal Mortgages Ltd.
A comprehensive range of property management, secretarial and business support services is provided at the Capital Business Centre.
