13.11.06 New Manager for St George's Business Park

Leigh Kedwell has been appointed as the new manager of St George’s Park at Sittingbourne, part of the Capital Enterprise Centres network.

After a first career in the Army, Leigh worked in office support services and in the property sector before moving to CEC.

CEC Operations Director David Clapham said Leigh’s experience in managing systems and people in widely differing environments was an ideal background for a business centre manager.

He said: “A centre manager must be able to deal with everything from state of the art telecommunications to catering and provide support services for an extremely wide range of businesses. A can-do attitude is essential as is the ability to cope flexibly with all the demands of the job.

“At Sittingbourne we are also about to begin a major expansion, with a range of new offices, studios and workshops scheduled to be built early in the New Year. So the centre manager will in addition have the challenge of dealing with expansion.”
