26.09.07 Manager Appointed at New Milton Keynes Business Centre

Lynn Patey-Smith has been appointed as the manager of the new Milton Keynes Business Centre which is set to open at the end of the year.

The major £8.8m development is nearing completion and several companies have already reserved business space.

As the on-site Centre manager, Lynn will welcome the first businesses to move in and provide comprehensive property management services together with office services and business support.

Lynn says: “This is a tremendous opportunity to be involved with the launch of an exciting new project. The Business Centre will offer high quality workspace on flexible terms and there is currently great interest in the offices, studios and workshops available. Some of the units were reserved months before completion was due, which shows the strong demand for quality business space in Milton Keynes.”

Lynn is a computer science graduate with extensive business administration experience. She moves to CEC from a systems provider and software house, and has been impressed by the advanced communications that the Milton Keynes Business Centre will offer.

The Milton Keynes Business Centre will have more than 54,000 square feet of fully managed workspace with offices, studios and workshops providing accommodation for up to 90 companies. The Centre is located in a campus style setting on a site off Foxhunter Drive with ample parking.

In addition to the full range of office, studio and workshop space available on an easy monthly licence the Centre will also offer a comprehensive Virtual Service for businesses working from home and a full range of business continuity arrangements.
