If you are looking forward to a summer of barbeques with great food, good wine and excellent company there’s no better place to make a start than the Waterhouse Business Centre charity Hog Roast on Thursday 21 June.All proceeds from the evening which marks the opening of the Centre’s new extension will go to the Farleigh Hospice, which makes a massive contribution to the care of terminally ill patients in their homes, at day care centres, and in a residential Hospice.
Centre Manager Michelle Cook says that it will be a great opportunity for local business people to meet, see the new extension and raise funds for an outstandingly effective local charity.
She said: “We all greatly admire the work Farleigh Hospice undertakes in Chelmsford and the surrounding area and appreciate the professionalism and personal care that its staff provide. The Hospice needs continuing fund raising support and we are very pleased to be able to make a contribution.”
The Hog Roast will be getting underway at 5.30pm with a full barbeque available from 6.30pm. If there’s a thunderstorm an under cover back-up has been planned!
