Centre Manager Lorraine King and her assistants Michelle Ellis and Annette Morris took on the fifteen mile cross country walk in support of Walk Wonders

21.05.07 3 Walk Wonders!

The now very fit Greenway Business Centre team stepped out and raised more than £350 on this year’s Macmillan cancer charity walk.

Centre Manager Lorraine King and her assistants Michelle Ellis and Annette Morris took on the fifteen mile cross country walk along the Hertfordshire Way as part of the nation-wide Walk Wonders promotion.

Lorraine said that there had been great support from Centre businesses and from CEC colleagues and that the team wanted to thank all their sponsors.

She said: “We are still receiving sponsorship contributions but we know already that we have achieved more than £350 and that made it a very worthwhile day. Walk Wonders across the country is aiming to raise £1m this year.”

CEC Business Centres also regularly support the Macmillan Trust through participation in the annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning which last year raised £6.7m. Watch out for this year’s Morning on Friday 28 September.
