The first customers are due to move into CapitalSpace’s new building at Kings Hill’s Churchill Square Business Centre in December, ahead of a formal opening early next year.  The £3.6 million investment is meeting demand for additional offices at the Centre by creating space for 30 companies, along with new centralised reception facilities and a suite of state-of-the-art meeting rooms.

Work started on 80 Churchill Square in January and we are delighted that we are on track for the first customers to move in before the end of this year.  The 30 new offices are suitable for companies with two to ten people, and bring the total number of office suites at Kings Hill near Maidstone to 189.

“CapitalSpace aims to support business owners and entrepreneurs by providing flexible, affordable accommodation that meets their changing business needs.  It’s proved such a winning formula that we have decided to make this investment in the Kings Hill and West Kent economy so we can help more entrepreneurs realise their dreams by giving them the perfect office accommodation to help them take their businesses to the next level,” explained managing director Peter Boam.

Nicolas Heslop, Leader of Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, commented: “This new facility at Churchill Square is exactly what the local economy needs. Over the past 10 years, there have been very few instances of new office developments being constructed across the county, despite the clear demand for them.  I’m sure that CapitalSpace will have no trouble at all in filling this state-of-the-art development with high-quality businesses and I look forward to seeing this new business hub take shape.”

Potential customers are being given guided tours of the site.  “24 of the new offices are currently reserved off plan, but we are giving people a chance to explore inside, so they can get a proper feel for the working environment that Building 80 will offer before they commit,’ explained Centre Manager, Sue Billings.

The state-of-the-art meetings rooms have natural light, free Wi-Fi, great audio-visual services and catering options to suit all needs and budgets.  The five meeting rooms are a range of sizes to cater for all demands, from short bookings to sign a contract through to all-day conferences, with the larger rooms also benefiting from air conditioning.

Building 80 customers will also benefit from the free parking, high-speed internet and full business services enjoyed by CapitalSpace customers across the existing accommodation in Churchill Square, including printing, copying, shredding, mail services and telephone answering through the onsite reception team.
