2017 had many highlights for CapitalSpace.:
- We reached our highest occupancy rates in our 20-year history
- We invested £3.6 million in a new building at Kings Hill’s Churchill Square
- We took over the running of a new business centre
- We were actively involved in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Milton Keynes
Here’s how we intend to build on this success to create an even better year in 2018 for both our customers and our staff.
Championing small and medium-sized businesses
We will continue to champion small-business owners and entrepreneurs. With the ever-increasing pressure for more houses, we expect more industrial and office space to be converted to residential use in 2018, creating yet more pressure on affordable business accommodation. CapitalSpace will continue to buck the trend, investing in excellent offices, workshops and studios and offering them on flexible terms to enable business owners to manage their growth without onerous leases.
Building 80

Our new building at Kings Hill’s Churchill Square will be formally opened early this year. Providing office space for 30 companies, it brings our total business accommodation in Churchill Square to 189, as well as offering new central reception facilities and state-of-the-art meeting rooms.
Investing for excellence
We will continue our rolling programme of investments and improvements in our nine business centres across the south east to ensure that all our customers enjoy comfortable, welcoming and efficient work places.
Caring for the environment
We will assess our business activities for their impact on the environment and, wherever possible and practical, we will select environmentally friendly options.
Giving back
Being an active part of the local communities that we serve is a key part of the CapitalSpace philosophy. We will continue to support charities and good causes in those communities in the vital work they do.
