Turning enthusiasm into business
Harmonic Intelligent Solutions offer a variety of insurance consulting services to insurers, brokers, Managing General Agents and other industry bodies. Dan Holland, head of analytics, said: ‘I started off working with Jon Byford the founder of Harmonic at AXA. We noticed that there was a gap in the market as the motorcycle sector wasn’t getting enough attention, with most providers focused on the car industry. As a motorcycle enthusiast, Jon realised that there needed to be more bespoke packages for motorcycle owners.’
Finding the right fit
As Harmonic are a growing company, flexibility was important for them when looking at office space and was a key reason that attracted them to our Capital Business Centre in Chelmsford: ‘There were many office options that we looked at that were unsuitable and just didn’t offer the ability to scale up as we needed to. We got set up incredibly quickly and the staff here at Waterhouse Business Centre in Chelmsford were all excellent.’
Raising brand awareness
Harmonic are looking to expand their reach and to grow their reputation within the sector as the first step to securing business success: ‘Our main interest at the moment is to increase our brand awareness, which is why we’re focusing on getting onto quite a few comparison websites so that more people come across us. We’re also really passionate about providing a great service and giving our clients the best quality possible.’
