LR Connections

LR Connections is the holding company for LR Financial Services and LR Estate Planning, and they’re looking to set up LR Business Services.  The umbrella, LR Connections, sends clients in the right direction so that they can speak to a specialist in their area. “This allows us to tailor our service to match the exact customer needs, we also have wonderful staff which help to ensure everything runs smoothly,” said Gary Keeley, director of LR Connections.

Gary got into finance 30 years ago when he was applying for jobs advertised in the newspaper: “One advertisement literally said, ‘Apply here if you are ambitious’, so I sent off my application and now here I am, working in finance.”

The perfect space for growth

Our Waterhouse Business Centre in Chelmsford has been an ideal location for LR Connections to set up: “We moved into Capital Space in July 2016, we love the space because it’s so close to town, making it easy for clients to find us, and the excellent parking makes it easier for them on their visits. This is really important because it adds to our excellent customer service. We also get great help from the front desk, who are always professional and respectful to both our LR employees and clients.”

 “The various-sized offices at Waterhouse Business Centre have allowed the growth of the business with little extra effort or change.  In the next five years we hope to expand, employing more staff in the financial services and estate planning areas to increase further the level of service we can provide for our clients, and early next year we’re hoping to start an ad and recruitment campaign to facilitate this.”

Client retention

LR Connections are moving with the times, having recently introduced a range of digital services to reflect how customers increasingly prefer to manage their lives.  Responding to customer need and demand is one of the ways they hope to reduce churn – one of the key indicators that they use to evaluate success:   “When you do the job right, the money becomes a by-product. We measure our success by client retention; if our customers are staying with us, then surely we must be doing something right!”
