They say that a happy client is the best form of advertising and no one proves this more than one of our Greenway Business Centre, Harlow, clients, Ready Care. It was noticing the distinct lack of happy customers in the homecare sector and a desire to redress the balance that led to the company’s inception. Now celebrating its first anniversary, Ready Care’s rapid expansion continues.

A Caring Company

Only a year old, Ready Care was founded with a clear aim: to keep clients happy.  “The main reason I started this service was because I was observing people receiving homecare and saw very few, very happy clients,” remembers Prashant Setia, who had been a qualified occupational for 17 years before launching Ready Care. “It was clear that, while there are plenty of homecare providers on the market, there is definitely a gap when it comes to quality services. That’s what we provide.” This ethos of quality is at the very core of this client-centred company: “Being flexible means we can respond to our clients’ needs as they arise, and we’ll always aim to match those needs to our carers’ particular strengths – and match their personalities for compatibility, too.” Prashant says. “We’ve managed to build up a great team, and offer great support to our clients – key to this has been our wonderful Care Coordinator, the very experienced Pamela Copp.”

Dedication to customer satisfaction has allowed the new business to develop and succeed: “If you provide good services, you get good feedback from the clients and that’s how you grow,” comments Prashant. “We get a lot of referrals via word-of-mouth and from the Homecare  review site, where clients post reviews based on a series of exacting criteria. I’m very proud to say we get ten out of ten regularly, and just been named as one of the 20 top home-care providers in the east of England in the website’s 2019 Awards.”

Ready to expand

Though the last year has brought about great success for Ready Care, there are no plans to slow down anytime soon. Currently only operating in Harlow and Epping, the company is currently in the process of registering with Enfield, Waltham forest and Hertfordshire councils: “Hopefully, in the next two years we will see a few more offices around, more clients and we’ll expand the office here. Our current home at the Greenway Centre is spacious, but we hope to move within the site so we have enough room to offer staff training.

Satisfaction means success

Prashant offers his primary tips for business success tips: “Treat your staff as you’d treat your clients. You can’t just focus on the clients and not keep your staff happy.”
