Going the extra mile
When the car park at Colchester Business and Seedbed Centre was covered in snowed during a recent winter, it was care-taker centre John who went out of his way to remedy the situation. Recalls customer Damian Philip of Datafuel, “He came in to work to shovel the snow away– and it was his day off!” I honestly can’t imagine getting that sort of service anywhere else.”
Osteopath Paul Gould of All About U, based in Kings Hill, confirms that this sort of support is what you can expect from Capital Space staff throughout the south east. “The centre staff here at Churchill Square are engaged, welcoming and friendly – but it’s the extras they offer that are particularly impressive – they’ll go out of their way to help you, and I think we all appreciate the emergency supplies of coffee and chocolate they have on hand at reception!”
A cost-effective solution
For our customers, having centre staff such as receptionists and caretakers that they can count on frees them from the need to provide such staff themselves. Not only does this mean one less member of staff for them to worry about – it means salary savings.
Creating the right impression
Says Capital Space managing director, Peter Boam: “Our staff aren’t simply ambassadors for the Capital Space brand, they’re ambassadors for our customers businesses, too. That’s why we take great care to choose staff who aren’t just great at their jobs but who have great ‘people skills’ too. Our reception staff, for instance, are likely to be the first people potential customers, customers and their visitors meet, and we count on them to create a superb first impression – which they do.”
How our staff help our customers
Every centre has several members of staff in its management team, meaning that there is always someone on hand to help with any issues, ensuring our customers have the security and freedom to get on with running their businesses.
We relieve our customers of the hassles of property management, including maintenance and security. And there’s a range of business support services that our staff can provide, from meeting-room hire, to printing and photocopying – even franking customers’ mail.
Admin services from our central reception also include receiving customers’ parcels and taking calls in a company’s name as and when required: “if I can’t answer the phones, I can divert calls to reception,” says Charlie Herbert, founder of The Osteo Group at Kings Hill Churchill Square. Whether our customers are after practical support, a warm welcome for themselves and their guests or both, then, their feedback suggests that Capital Space delivers.
The dedicated support team at Capital Space business centres are expert at handling office administration, freeing up our customers to concentrate on what they do best – building their businesses.
