At Capital Space each and every one of our customers is invaluable to us. That being said, we do like to mark those extra special milestones. Well, congratulations are in order to our team in Chelmsford , who’ve just signed their 1000th tenant, an especially noteworthy accomplishment given the current circumstances.

Lots of happy customers

As a company, we pride ourselves on our many happy customers who choose to run their businesses at one of our centres. We’re especially proud of the Waterhouse Business Centre team in Chelmsford, who’ve just signed their 1000th customer at the centre. The new customers are G4s, who have taken out five offices at the centre.

On welcoming the news, centre manager Sharon Dodson commented: “We’re very pleased to welcome G4s as our 1000th customer at Waterhouse. It’s a massive achievement and privilege to sign them on, especially during these difficult times.’

Although the current government guidelines require enterprises to work from home if they are able to, workers are permitted to go to the office if it is unavoidable. We’re also seeing lots of businesses looking to secure office space with us for when they’re able to return to work, as well as lots of city firms looking to be able to offer their employees a satellite office once the restrictions ease.

Celebrating our new tenants

Before securing that all important 1000th tenant, Sharon and the team at Waterhouse had decided that once they’d hit the milestone, they’d offer the new customer a prize to celebrate. With lots of organisation on Sharon’s behalf, she managed to coordinate a socially distanced opportunity to give the new customers their gift.

The company thanked the Waterhouse team for the kind thought but said they have a strict policy on not accepting gifts. Instead, they kindly asked us to raffle the contents of the hamper to staff with all proceeds going to the centre’s charity of choice, Farleigh Hospice.

Because of this, and the friendliness of staff and existing customers, we attract new customers all the time. At the same time, despite the fact customers can leave with just a month’s notice, we have had many customers workspace with us for several years because they are happy here.’

Big ambitions for our Chelmsford centre

Sharon and her team at the Waterhouse Business Centre aren’t stopping there, she’s got big plans for the centre’s future: ‘We can’t wait to continue working hard and securing our 2000th customers in the years to come. The team work extremely hard to ensure all our customers and potential customers receive friendly, professional services, ensuring all their business needs are met’.
