It has been a successful year for our customers, and we are extremely proud of them and their achievements. After a challenging but successful 2022 they most definitely have some brilliant advice to give anyone who may be wanting to start up their own business this New Year!

  Natasha Turner

Our Kings Hill customer Natasha Turner runs her own beauty therapy services for her clients from Churchill Square Business Centre. She’s faced hardships and prosperities, so she has a lot of advice to give:

“The piece of advice I give to everyone is just keep learning, practising and advancing your skills; trends are ever changing so keeping up with them is important. While it can be tempting to stick with the tried-and-true things your company has done over the years, integrating trends as they come up will set you apart from your competition.”

Art House

Housed in our Colchester Business and Seedbed Centre is the Art House’s Verity Clarke. She’s works in an alternative hair salon to allow those who may feel like outsiders, to feel like they have a place! Verity has plenty of tips up her sleeve for those who want to start up their own niche business:

“I’d say do the necessary research, know your target market, find your niche, find your right prices, and do something you’re passionate about. If you’re not passionate, it will be hard to push through all the challenges and setbacks as it won’t seem worth it.

“Persevering through all the setbacks and challenges is key to a successful business and is something you should see as a positive!”

JRS Recruitment

Also in our Kings Hill Churchill Square location is JRS Recruitment . Daniel shares his words of wisdom for new business owners.

“Hard work is key. It’s lots of hours and sometimes boils down to working seven days a week without you even realising! This is something very challenging to start with, but if you persevere through, you’ll make it.”

“Having a business partner like mine is amazing! You can combine your expertise and support one another when times get tough, and challenges arise. Having someone else to help really does make those long days and weeks worth it!”

The Sittingbourne Clinic

As a thriving business owner, with 30 years of experience, Mark, from The Sittingbourne Clinic  based in St George’s Business Park , gives us his tips and tricks for success:

“The most important thing, in my opinion, is to know what you want to accomplish; setting goals is a great place to start. Then you must carefully consider how you will reach those goals while being realistic. Success will come your way if you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve and are willing to put the effort in!”

We are extremely proud of all of our customers this past year and what they have achieved. Get in touch to find out how we can support you in your future endeavours!
