Resting on your laurels as a business owner can be a huge mistake as competitors can inch ahead, service levels may decline, and opportunities can be missed. The same can be said for our business centres. We are always looking for ways we can improve the experience for our customers and in turn, their customers and clients. Read on to find out more about the latest upgrades are at our Southend site, Laurence Industrial Estate.

A facelift for the Laurence Industrial Estate

Our Southend site comprises 40 units occupied by a variety of businesses from manufacturing to pet hydrotherapy and bathroom specialists.

Work started in November last year to install new roller shutter doors for our Southend customers. At Laurence, the site is made up entirely of workshops which had over 30 manual roller shutters with no brakes. The improvements will replace the roller shutters with brand new electric versions, equipped with braking systems.

A security boost for customers

Constructed from mild steel, the new shutter doors provide a high level of security and peace of mind for our customers. The doors also retain heat and allow greater protection from the elements compared to standard doors. Featuring an easy-to-use button operation system, our customers are as satisfied with the mechanics as they are the aesthetics!

Laurence Industrial Estate site manager, Peter Hill said ‘There has been an enthusiastic response from all customers. Everybody loves them!’.

Work is also underway to update the entrance sign to the site.
