We are delighted to announce that Lorraine Lee has been appointed to CEO of Capital Space Ltd.

The former chief executive (designate) and former senior manager of operations, who has been with the business for over 20 years, takes the helm of the company as it embarks on a new chapter.

The announcement follows significant growth at Capital Space, with continued demand for more business centres.

We congratulate Lorraine on her new position and look forward to seeing how her guidance and support help Capital Space’s continued expansion.

Lorraine to support Capital Space in expanding business centre locations

Having worked in the operations and customer facing side of the business for almost 20 years Lorraine will bring an in depth knowledge, understanding and appreciation for the challenges our customers face as well first-hand knowledge of what it takes to run successful business centres. Lorraine started her career within the company as centre manager at Greenway Business Centre in Harlow.

Commenting on her new appointment, Lorraine says she was keen to drive the business forward whilst continuing to offer exceptional service levels.

“I am delighted to be part of the upward trajectory of the business and to help shape its future alongside the management team. Over the past 12 months, our customers have taken advantage of our flexible space and monthly licence to expand, downsize and/or change the type of space they occupy to cater to their changing needs. The flexibility and pride we take in offering first class customer service and quality workspace has resulted in waiting lists at several centres. In order to solve this, we are looking to expand our locations in 2025 as part of a strategy to increase centres in the South.”

Years of helping small businesses grow

The company currently operates 9 business centres across the country and is one of the UK’s leading business accommodation providers for SMEs, with more than 700 offices, studios and workshops. Unlike traditional commercial leases, the company offers simple, monthly licences to its business customers meaning they are free to leave with just a month’s notice. This freedom and flexibility accounts for the company’s success since it was set up in 1998.

Commenting on Lorraine’s appointment, founder Peter Boam says: “I am delighted to have Lorraine onboard as CEO. She started at Capital Space as Centre Manager as has worked her way up to CEO; her knowledge of the industry and business makes her the perfect fit for this role.”

Congratulations again to Lorraine as she takes the helm of the business. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Capital Space. Head to our news page to stay up to date with the latest Capital Space news and business tips.
