Waterhouse Business Centre welcomes new companies
Waterhouse Business Centre, Chelmsford is seeing a high level of interest in offices, studios and workshops and says that Chelmsford businesses are taking an optimistic view of the prospects for 2010. Centre Manager Michelle Cook has recently welcomed four new companies to the Waterhouse Business Centre and other businesses at the Centre are taking additional space.

She says: “Many companies see 2010 as a year of recovery for the economy and they are getting ready to make the most of new opportunities.

“Our Centre offers a full range of accommodation which can be laid out in a variety of configurations. All sizes are available from one person starter units to larger dedicated premises and we are seeing interest from both start-ups and expanding businesses.

“A particular attraction is the ability to take units at the Centre on a monthly licence, with no long term commitment. It’s an approach that businesses appreciate as it allows them to match the space they take to the changing requirements of their companies.”

Businesses moving to the Waterhouse Business Centre include engineering design and development company AcerMetric, sports equipment supplier DemonXTREME, domestic solar panel provider Envirosolar, and Consulting247 Ltd. Expanding company Excell Ultrasound, which provides diagnostic scans from mobile facilities, has also taken additional space.

The Waterhouse Business Centre is located near the centre of Chelmsford with easy access to main road and rail links. The Centre provides high quality managed workshops, studios and offices let on a monthly licence. A single fee includes on-site management, maintenance, building insurance, refuse collection, security, water rates and the cleaning of common areas.

A comprehensive range of property management, secretarial and business support services is provided, supervised by an on-site manager. Everything is covered including administrative support, meeting room management, state of the art telecommunications, postal services, telephone answering and access to business catering.

A Virtual Service for businesses working from home is available giving a Business Centre address, mail and telephone answering services and access to meeting rooms and office space.
