Success at the West Kent Business Expo 24!

Local business is at the heart of what we do at Capital Space, with the majority of our customers living within 5 miles of our centres. So exhibiting at the recent West Kent Business Expo was a brilliant way to share our values with the local community of brilliant businesses operating in West Kent. Our Churchill Square Business Centre Manager Toni Wilkinson attended and shared with us how the day went.

Supporting local businesses in West Kent

The inaugural West Kent Expo is the only regional business to business expo in this part of the county and was a great opportunity to build face-to-face connections with future potential customers and raise brand awareness. The turnout was brilliant, and we exhibited alongside 59 other businesses at The River Centre in Tonbridge. The types of businesses ranged from those spanning the whole West Kent area to micro businesses specialising in the health, wellbeing and leisure sectors.

A valuable promotion opportunity

We were delighted to have lots of interest from the expo’s visitors with a flood of enquiries about our meeting rooms, virtual offices and office suites. We even ran out of our exclusive meeting room vouchers which entitled visitors to enjoy one hour free if they booked a half or full day in one of our meeting rooms – so we are looking forward to welcoming some new faces to our business centres.

We featured on a podcast!

Courtesy of Matt Sims, founder of the Ever-So-Lean Podcast, we starred in a short podcast, which was streamed and allowed us to showcase our stand to visitors.

Toni said: “We were really excited to be at this first-time event, as it gave us an opportunity to speak directly to potential customers. We were blown away by the energy in the room on the day and the number of visitors the exhibition attracted surpassed our expectations.”

We really enjoyed attending the event and were pleased to share with so many local businesses the ways in which we can support them with their workspace needs. It was definitely a worthwhile event, and we would love to return again next year. As many of our customers are locally based SMEs, it would also be the perfect opportunity for them to exhibit their businesses and build new connections in the local community.
