Local Area
Situated very close to Southend Airport, the Laurence Industrial Estate benefits from being close to a nearby supermarket as well as the A127 Southend Arterial Road.
If you’re looking for scenic attractions, it is also a short 15 or 20 minutes’ drive to Southend on Sea’s beachfront, including Chalkwell Beach and Bell Wharf Beach. The latter offers a sandy shoreline and is close to the renowned cockle sheds where you may be able to spot working fishing boats in action.
A string of pubs, fish and chip shops, eateries and arcades line the seafront road whilst Southend itself has the world’s longest pleasure pier at 1.33 miles. If you’d prefer not to walk it, you can ride by train to reach the end.
Another must-visit is Sealife Adventure for marine and animal lovers, featuring stingrays, sharks, piranhas, beautiful corals, a butterfly enclosure, meerkats, otters and monkeys.
