Churchill Square Connects 130 businesses from across Kent

At Capital Space we aim to provide more than just four walls and a desk, but a thriving business community. It was an honour, therefore, to welcome over 130 Kent businesses into this community as we hosted Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Connections for the third year running… 

What is Kent Invicta Chamber Connections? 

As any entrepreneur knows, for growing small or medium-sized enterprise (SME), building strong local connections is essential for long-term growth. To support Kent’s flourishing business community, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce organises ‘Chamber Connections’; a highly popular networking initiative designed to bring local entrepreneurs and business owners together in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Hosted in a different venue across the county each month, Chamber Connections is structured to be completely inclusive. Whether you run a fledgling start-up operating via a virtual office or manage an established team in a dedicated commercial office space, this event welcomes businesses of every size and sector. 

The core philosophy behind Chamber Connections is simple: “It is not just who YOU know, it’s who they know – the power of connections!” By stepping out of your day-to-day routine and meeting peers face-to-face, you gain access to an expanded network of advice, potential clients, and collaborative opportunities across Kent. 

About the event 

This month, around 130 business representatives gathered at Churchill Square Business Centre in Kings Hill for a morning of vibrant networking and collaboration. Marking the third successive year that Churchill Square Business Centre has hosted the event, the atmosphere was filled with energy and enthusiasm from the moment doors opened. 

Upon arrival, guests received a warm welcome from Chamber representatives who were on hand to facilitate introductions and ensure every attendee felt instantly included. The informal format gave attendees ample time to pitch their services, discuss industry trends, and form genuine relationships with fellow local business leaders.

To keep everyone energised throughout the morning, catering was provided by 363 Coffee Lounge & Event Catering. Attendees enjoyed a delicious spread of fresh pastries, yoghurt pots, hot bacon and sausage sandwiches, and fresh fruit while engaging in lively discussions across the centre.

The feedback from those who attended highlighted the real, tangible value of in-person networking at a dedicated business centre.

Tasifa Karim, an investment consultant with Homelee Investments, one of our customers at Churchill Square, noted how hosting events at your own workspace creates unique opportunities. She said: “When you introduce yourself to people and you explain that you’re literally based upstairs, their curiosity spikes. People are interested in what you do. People want to see the face behind the business. It’s a different type of connection.” 

For visiting professionals, the event offered a fresh perspective and valuable new contacts. With great conversations, delicious food from 363 Coffee Lounge & Event Catering, and dozens of new contacts made, Chamber Connections at Churchill Square once again demonstrated the enduring power of community.
