The Wellness clinic bringing patient-first care to King’s Hill
You can take the doctor out of the NHS, but you can’t take the NHS out of the doctor. Following an 18-year career in public health, in which he witnessed the dedication and conscientiousness of his colleagues, Dr. Santhosh Alexander aimed to bring that same patient-first mentality to Bethel Wellness Clinic, which recently opened at Capital Space’s Churchill Square Business Centre in King’s Hill.
When and why did you set up Bethel Wellness Clinic?
After more than two decades working in medicine, Dr. Alexander says that launching a clinic represented both a professional progression and a personal ambition:
“Five years ago, I never imagined that I would be running a specialist aesthetics and wellness clinic here in King’s Hill. But today here we are with Bethel Wellness Clinic being one start of a rewarding chapter of my career.
“This journey has been shaped not only by a long-held dream of opening a clinic, but also by over 25 years of experience working as a doctor, with 18 years within the NHS.
“Throughout my NHS career, I have had the privilege of working alongside dedicated doctors across a range of specialties and caring for patients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
“Welcoming patients, supporting them through treatment, and guiding them on their journeys to recovery has always been at the heart of my work. That patient-first ethos continues to underpin everything we do at Bethel Wellness Clinic.”
The clinic serves customers across King’s Hill and surrounding areas and offers treatments including non-invasive body contouring, skin rejuvenation, and laser hair removal.
What do you enjoy most about your work? What motivates you?
A strong focus on wellbeing and confidence underpins the clinic’s approach, with services designed around structured treatment journeys rather than one-off sessions, says Dr Alexander, as he explains:
“I have always been drawn to work that sits at the crossroads of wellbeing and confidence. For me, aesthetics is not about vanity; it is about how people feel in their own skin and how that confidence impacts their daily lives at work, socially, and personally.
“After extensive research into non-invasive technologies, we introduced advanced treatments such as the Emerald Laser for body contouring and fat reduction, alongside laser hair removal, RF skin tightening, microneedling, photo rejuvenation, and HIFU.
“Our clinic focuses on three core areas: non-invasive body contouring and fat reduction using laser technology; skin rejuvenation and tightening through clinically led treatments; and diode laser hair removal for safe, progressive hair reduction.
“One of the most important lessons we learned early on is that clients do not want to piece together their own treatment journey. They want clarity, structure, and reassurance.
“While we do offer single sessions, the best clinical outcomes are achieved through tailored programmes. These programmes provide clients with a clear plan, realistic expectations, and measurable, predictable results.”
What attracted you to set up at Churchill Square?
Operating within Capital Space’s Churchill Square Business Centre in King’s Hill provided the professional setting and accessibility the clinic required for customers attending appointments.
“We chose Churchill Square Business Centre because it offers a professional, discreet, and accessible setting.
“The strong sense of community, combined with excellent accessibility and good parking, makes it convenient for clients to attend appointments without the need to travel into London or disrupt their day.
“The environment here supports professional businesses and has played an important role in our continued growth.”
As Capital Space customer, Bethel Wellness clinic also benefits from the flexibility of Capital Space’s Easy In Easy Out licences.
What are your goals moving forward?
The clinic’s future plans centre on steady growth, technology adoption, and continuing to build trust within the King’s
Hill community: “For me, the most rewarding aspect of this work is not just the physical transformation, but the confidence shift that follows.
“When someone tells me they finally feel comfortable in their own body, or more confident at work, on holiday, or in everyday life, it reinforces that what we do goes far beyond appearance. It is about wellbeing, self-assurance, and quality of life.
“Our vision now is to continue establishing Bethel as the trusted wellness and aesthetics clinic for King’s Hill and the surrounding areas.
“We want to grow steadily, introduce technology that makes clinical sense, and keep raising the standard without rushing or compromising.
“At the end of the day, Bethel exists to help people feel more comfortable and more confident in their own skin. This is made possible through clear, structured plans that deliver real outcomes.”
Bethel Wellness Clinic shows that sustainable business success often comes from aligning professional experience with a clear vision, structured services, and an unwavering focus on customer outcomes, rather than rapid expansion.
