Business centre reception teams get top marks in customer survey

Posted by Sharp Minds on 1st April 2026, 8:45am

In our commitment to continual improvement for our customers, we sent out a survey to customers of the seven participating centres. We gratefully received 190 responses to our 2026 survey, and this is what our customers have to say about us…

Our survey sample

We received 190 responses to the survey, an increase of 44% compared to the last survey we carried out in 2021. For small business owners and entrepreneurs based in serviced offices across our business centres, this level of engagement provides valuable insight into how our business accommodation supports day-to-day productivity and long-term business success.

We were delighted with both the response rate and the quality of feedback received. As well as positive comments, customers shared thoughtful suggestions, which our management teams are reviewing carefully to identify further opportunities to improve facilities and services for SMEs across the Southeast.

All respondents were entered into a draw to win a Valentine’s hamper, helping to make participation a small celebration of community spirit across centres including Churchill Square Business Centre, Kings Hill, Greenway Business Centre, Harlow, and Milton Keynes Business Centre.

Overview of results

The survey results provide a strong indication that our serviced offices and support services are meeting the needs of business owners looking for efficient, professional workplaces.

  • 75% said our internet service was excellent or good
  • 84% said our reception teams were excellent
  • 74% said our maintenance teams were excellent
  • 48% said our accounts services were excellent
  • 97% said our reception areas were excellent or good
  • 81% said our communal areas were excellent or good
  • 78% said our landscaping was excellent or good
  • 91% said our maintenance standards were excellent or good
  • 90% said our response to resolving maintenance issues was excellent or good
  • 51% said our meeting room availability was excellent or good
  • 55% said the ease of booking meeting rooms was excellent or good

These results reflect the importance of reliable infrastructure and supportive onsite teams for entrepreneurs and SMEs, particularly those using flexible licence agreements such as our easy-in, easy-out model.
