About this session

AI is becoming part of everyday business life, from drafting emails and contracts to reviewing documents, communicating with customers and automating routine processes.

In an ideal world, every business would obtain legal advice for every legal dispute. In reality, the cost of that advice can sometimes outweigh the value of a claim, or, frankly, is one businesses could do without.

It is understandable that many are turning to tools such as ChatGPT to draft correspondence, summarise long (usually AI-generated) documents and list their next steps to deal with unpaid invoices or complaints. It can often save time, cost and stress.

Business owners will learn  about how they can take advantage of AI to assist with their current and future legal disputes, how they can use the technology safely and crucially, when, and in what circumstances, they need to log out of ChatGPT and call a lawyer.

Solicitor, Griffin Law

Across ten years at the firm, I have worked in family, contractual, insolvency and defamation disputes and developed a sharp, practical feel for where legal risk actually bites for businesses.
